The Frank Friar – Episode 130: Having a Christian Household

I reflect upon an article from the November issue of First Things.  The article was called Reclaiming the Household by Prof. John Cuddeback.  He is a philosophy professor at Christendom College.  Here is a link to his website https://baconfromacorns.com/. In this article he writes about the concept or family and the household, where they are same but where they are different.  I share my personal thoughts from this article.  It really is a recommend reading.

The Frank Friar – Episode 127: We Can Be The Widows

My mind and heart are stewing a lot on the story of Elijah and the widow of Zarephath.  This was a reading that we had at the Mass on Sunday.  In a way, I think we need to have the disposition of the widow because we are the widow.  I talk about that insight today and the dangers of feeling we are owed things from others and God.

The Frank Friar – Episode 126: Struggling with Frustration

Today, I talk about some factions I see in the Church.  I try to put words to things I see and sense.  Also, I renew the call to prudence which I think is so necessary right now in our times that are being flooded with so much ambiguity.
