Rachel Troche is a graduate of St Patrick School in Carlisle, PA and Temple University. A storyteller at heart, Rachel has used her skills in filmmaking, photography, and writing to assist in the marketing and advertising efforts of companies both large and small, including Pediasure, Cuisinart, and Mystery Science Theatre 3000. She is married to a Staff Sergeant in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and is a mom to three young boys. When she’s not scripting or hosting Candid Catholic Convos, she enjoys coffee, comfort food, and cuddles with her babies.
Candid Catholic Convos is the newest weekly program brought to you by the Diocese of Harrisburg. Our mission is to humanize the Church, and to help our listeners grow in their faith, love and understanding. Candid Catholic Convos is hosted by Rachel Troche: a mom, army wife, and cradle catholic who’s struggled with faith on multiple occasions. Each week, listeners can expect to hear honest and engaging interviews mixed with actionable strategies for easy implantation into their lives to help them grow closer to God.

A new weekly show produced by the Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, Pa.
Imagine if God took away everything you never said “thank you” for. Seriously, what if God took away everything you never said thank you for? Not just the big stuff either, the things we take for granted on a daily basis, the things we don’t even think about until they’re gone – like we don’t think about our health until we’re sick or we don’t think about the fact that we can run or walk until our knees hurt, right? So what are some ways we can practice appreciation for all the gifts God has given us? How can we really cultivate a disposition of gratitude daily, not just on Thanksgiving? We’re excited to welcome back Sr. Geralyn Schmidt of the Sisters of Christian Charity to help me come up with some tangible ways to practice giving thanks in our daily lives.
